I am a person-centred counsellor, two year post graduate, just finished my B A hons.
I am a member of the BACP, and are working towards my accreditation. I have over 320 client hours. most of my clients are clients who have suffered either domestic violence, or have been sexually abused, either as a child, or have suffered at the hands of a partner.
I have worked for almost two years with Hull Rape Crisis, this organisation handles historical, and present day abuse.
I have also worked with clients who have had some form of addiction to alcohol, or drug mis-use. I have also trained as a crisis worker for the Sexual Assault Referral Center (SARC in HULL). This organisation is run by the Humberside police and is used when someone reports an act of abuse, or that they have reported rape.
I am person-centred trained, inter grating (T. A. transactional Analysis). All my work which I have do is on a one-one, face to face basis. I have a relaxed and welcoming approach to my clients and treat all clients with the respect I believe we all deserve.
My fee for working with clients on a one-to-one,basis either by phone, web-cam, or skype would be £35.00 per hour.
Most of my clients have been ones, whereby they have suffered abuse, I do feel that I have a lot of experience working with these individuals. However, I have also done much work during my training as a counsellor, with clients who just simply need someone to talk to without making judgements about them.
