Tracy Jones's personal and professional philosophy
I am committed to being the best hypnotherapist I can possibly be and, as such, I aim to empower my clients to make positive changes in their lives.
My style of providing therapeutic services is holistic and humanistic. I work on the understanding that each client is the expert on their own life and, therefore, I will pay attention to, accept and respect them as individuals.
I will provide my clients with a safe environment (both physical and psychological) and a therapeutic relationship based on unconditional positive regard, authenticity and empathy.
My approach to therapy is client centred, but I also believe that there is value and power in appropriate intervention and challenge. My approach is also integrative, in that I aim to be comprehensive in incorporating methods from many different approaches. I will be flexible enough to select from a wide range of different theories and practices when devising treatment plans to best suit the needs of each individual client.
I am further committed to being learned about my subject and the wider world that impacts on it and to continue to develop my skills and experiences.
I have carried out professional development courses to enable me to develop an area of expertise in the issues of fertility and birthing. My interest in these areas stems from my own experiences of infertility, fertility treatments and (happily) childbirth.
