In recent years there has been more focus on process efficiency. This has now also hit the coaching area as Mentaline.com has created an Internet portal making coaching a new online market. In this context, online means both to conduct video-based
coaching conversations and using the usual Internet advantages of search facilities, comparison of price and quality, usability and payment is available. The goal is to spend less time on the administration process, provide a better basis for finding a better match between client and coach, and pay less.

Online therapy service www.Mentaline.com carried out the study in order to find out more about people’s phobias and whether or not Britons take the necessary steps to help them better deal with their fears. 2,017 people in the UK were subsequently polled, asked questions surrounding their biggest phobias.

The world’s largest online therapy and coaching platform has officially appointed a new Chief Executive Officer who has a strong background in public sector management and healthcare innovation. 44-year-old Claus Kaaber has been appointed CEO of www.Mentaline.com. He takes the place of the site’s founder and previous CEO, Jesper Buch, whose resources have been freed in order for him to focus more on his innovative and entrepreneurial expertise.

Latest research by the world’s first webcam based therapy service has discovered that 52% of employers don’t view depression as a viable reason to have time off work, whilst more than 1 in 5 admitted that they would be less likely to employ someone if they knew they had a history of mental illness.

The world’s first webcam based therapy service has revealed how many people are visiting the site for help since its launch. There are now around 400 counsellors, life coaches and psychologists active on the site and thousands of people have used the service.
