Breakthroughs are done by 'Break withs'

The recent recession in the UK as posed some unique challenges to business leaders as working practices and remuneration policies have come under severe attack. In a recent article (People Manager, Feb 11) Stephen Covey suggested, “ …… businesses should involve their people in decision-making to work out solutions together. This should be a form of cultural empowerment – where staff are given access to business critical information. I have faith in the basic wisdom of people and their ability to make decisions, particularly if you involve them over a significant period of time. Unfortunately a great deal of decisions have been driven by greed and the industrial age command-and-control model.”
If the concept of ‘cultural change’ interests you or the process of aligning behaviour of senior managers to that of the Organisations’ values, give me a call for a discussion. The intervention of 1:1 leadership development has a proven track record of lasting beneficial effect on leaders and consequently their teams.
If you would like to hear and learn more about what such an intervention could do to help you, your team, colleagues or the business please contact me by e-mail or phone.
I look forward to speaking with you.
